Dr. Argyrios Zolotas

Biography: Dr Zolotas is Reader in Systems and Control in the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-physical Systems, School of Aerospace, Transportation and Manufacturing, Cranfield University, UK. He is heading the Autonomous Systems Dynamics & Control research group, within the Centre. His expertise is on Systems and Control Engineering, including robust and fault tolerant control, system architecture, AI-based and data-driven control, and is working in autonomous systems for ground, aerial and rail related concepts . He has published over 120 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and int’l conference proceedings. He served as Associate Editor on IEEE Trans Control Systems Technology, IET Proceedings Control Theory Applications, IEEE Control Systems Society Letters. He is Associate Editor on MDPI Sustainability, and Vibration Journals and on few other venues. He served on the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society for a decade. Dr Zolotas is Senior Member of the IEEE. In 2018 was hosted by GIPSA lab, Grenoble INP, on a short-term visiting Professorship award.
